The Rooms
The Chamber is our largest room with seating for up to 180 theatre style on two tier levels. This room was designed to be the chamber of East Sussex County Council - the previous occupiers of the house - and was designed for theatre style lectures; it is also a great venue for dinners and social events with its polished dance floor.
The Terrace Room opens onto the gardens with spectacular views to the South Downs. Seating up to 80 theatre style or 40 boardroom this room is perfect for training events and meetings. The room also benefits from an adjoining area ideal for serving catering. For social events in conjunction with the Chamber it is an ideal reception area.
The Library offers a great location for boardroom meetings of up 16 people with its warm colours and lovely views - it is the best room for private senior management meetings as it is located on the first floor away from the buzz of the house. It offers a comfortable seating area and LCD screen for presentations.
The Green room is recommended for smaller meetings of up to 8 people or as a syndicate room. This room is equipped with an LCD screen and benefits from natural daylight.
The Boardroom a newly converted spacious room located on the second floor just above the Chamber, is light and versatile. Suitable for meetings of up to 35 people this meeting suite was designed to offer a quiet working space.
